GOLD MOTION - CUSTOM EFFECTS PACK
=================================
77 effects for the Custom category (68 originals + 9 stronger Pro examples). Requires Gold Motion V7.0.2 or newer
(the Custom + import button does not exist in V6.x).

STEP BY STEP
------------
1. Copy the .xml files from the /effects folder to your phone.
Downloads, Drive, Telegram - anywhere you can browse to.

2. Open Gold Motion and add a layer (or select an existing one).

3. Open the effects browser and go to the CUSTOM category.

4. Tap the + button at the top of the Custom category.

5. Pick ONE .xml file. The app reads it and adds it to your list.

6. The app now asks you for a THUMBNAIL. Pick any square image
(your own screenshot, a frame from the clip, a poster).
This step is required - the tile needs a picture.

7. The effect appears in the Custom category. Tap it to apply it
    to the selected layer.

8. Go BACK out of the Custom page and ENTER it again.
The app rebuilds the grid when you re-enter, which is what makes
the new effect register properly. Do this after every import.

Repeat 4-8 for each effect you want.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
-----------------------
"That XML is not a valid Gold Motion effect"
The file is not valid XML, or the header is broken. Check the file
starts with <?xml ... ?> and ends with </effect>, and that every
    quote is closed.

The effect imports but has no picture
The header is missing the thumb="..." attribute. Every effect in
this pack already has one - if you wrote your own, add it.

"<name>" is already in your Custom effects.
You imported the same effect twice. Choose replace, or rename the
effect in the header before importing again.

The effect is in the list but does nothing
The shader failed to compile. Every id used in the shader must be
declared in <params> with the exact same spelling.

WHY THE HEADER MATTERS
----------------------
Gold Motion does not just read the header - it REWRITES it. After you
pick a thumbnail the app replaces the thumb="..." value with its own
content:// file URI. If thumb="..." is not there to begin with, the
app has nothing to replace and the thumbnail is never attached.
That is the one header mistake almost everybody makes.

Every effect in this pack is already correct. Use one as your template.
